Pastel Lines

The pattern of these leggings was a challenge in a way that was unexpected: the white wasn’t quite white, off white, cream… I couldn’t find a match that didn’t make it look dingy or just. Wrong. With some perseverance, Indian metals, magatamas, seed beads, faceted and graduated pressed glass, and the strangest and misshapen “white” barrels, I got the colors right. Then, it was finding the right pattern to get the color distribution right. All strung on flexwire with no clasp. The bracelet has a sterling silver toggle with lines and dots reminiscent of the legging’s pattern.
