Dichroic flower and a customer’s gift
I had my eye on this blue dichroic glass pendant for a long time, but put off getting it because it wasn’t cheap. Then came a kind customer. No, he didn’t buy me the flower. He bought a pair of earrings. First, we couldn’t find something in his budget that was the right color for the shirt he had purchased as a gift. Then he decided that he wanted me to make custom ones. I did my best to keep the price down and came up with these fun crackle glass earrings. He had an errand to run and he’d be back to pick them up, so he paid and left. When he came back, he had exchanged the shirt and the earrings no longer matched. “You should keep them,” he said. He left with a smile and I had a new pair of earrings (and a reason to buy the matching flower).
